3

Chain slap destroying your chainstay finish ride after ride

Engineered, to Exact fit

We 3D scan your frame. To fit your exact size and model.

A universal kit is cut to fit a lot of bikes. Our 95% kits are cut to fit one. It starts with a laser scan of the actual frame, in our Cape Town workshop.

Map the frame 1

Map the frame

Reference markers go on the frame so the scanner knows exactly where it is in space.

Laser scan 2

Laser scan

A handheld laser scanner sweeps every tube, capturing the real geometry of your bike.

Build the model 3

Build the model

Millions of points become a digital twin of that exact make, model and size.

Cut the pattern 4

Cut the pattern

Patterns are drawn onto the model, then cut so every edge lands where it should.

This is why exact-fit costs more than universal, and why the edges sit flush instead of just protecting certain areas.

The Invisible Armour

Engineered to disappear. Built to take the hit.

Every Armour-Ride kit starts as a precision digital pattern, cut for your exact frame or bodywork, then installed by hands that treat your machine like their own.

Self-Healing

Self-Healing

Light scratches and swirl marks vanish with warm water or sunlight. The film heals itself.

Chemical Defense

Chemical Defense

Shrugs off fuel spills, sweat and grime that would otherwise eat into your finish.

Questions

Before you buy

Will frame protection void my bike's warranty?+

No. Major brands including Specialized and Trek do not void frame warranties for professionally applied clear protective film. The film protects the finish rather than altering the frame, and it peels off cleanly if a warranty inspection is ever needed.

What is the difference between the 35%, 65% and 95% kits?+

35% covers the down tube and chainstay, the two zones that take the most abuse. 65% adds the top tube and cranks. Both are universal-fit, cut to suit a wide range of frames. 95% is different: it is frame-specific, laser-scanned and cut for your exact make, model and size, and includes forks, wheels and cranks.

How much does bike frame protection cost in South Africa?+

It depends on how much of the bike you want covered. Single-zone kits are the entry point, universal-fit 35% and 65% packages sit in the middle, and frame-specific 95% kits are the premium option. Current pricing is on every product page, and professional installation in Cape Town is an optional add-on.

Can I install the film myself?+

Yes. Every kit ships as a DIY kit with an instruction card, and there are step-by-step install videos on the product pages. If you are in Cape Town you can also book a professional install at our workshop.

Will the film damage my paint when it is removed?+

No. It lifts off without residue, leaving the paint underneath in the condition it was applied in. That is why protection film preserves resale value rather than costing you it.

Gloss or matte, which should I choose?+

Match your bike's existing paintwork so the protection stays near-invisible. Gloss film on a gloss frame, matte on matte. Kits are available in both.

What if my exact bike model is not listed?+

Tell us your make, model and year and we will confirm the fit. We laser-scan new frames every week to expand our pattern library, so if yours is not templated yet we can scan it.

Do you ship outside Cape Town?+

Yes. We ship DIY kits across South Africa. In-person installation runs from our Cape Town workshop and partner bike shops, and elsewhere in the country we can connect you with an installer.
